Next generation jewelry makers

Kids Central Fest, Saturday, May 7th
Maine Jewelry & Art held bead necklace workshops all afternoon teaching children from all ages (3 to 12).Younger children strung beads; older children age 7 and up learned to tie hemp beaded necklaces. At least a hundred or more children came to the workshops and all day the store was packed with strollers, parents and children! Most children had their picture taken with their new necklace, or with their Mom. What a fun day!
